The Mountaintop

Live Arts

The ending of The Mountaintop features a scene where images of Martin Luther King's legacy, and the legacy of the Civil Rights Movement spill onto the set behind the protagonist, an Angel, as she helps Dr. King make peace with his impending demise. The Angel calls out names of people, places, and events, as images of them appear around her. The full text is provided below the video.

Note: The video below was split between two projectors, with the left hand images projected on a wall stage right of the actor, and the right hand images projected on a wall upstage of the actor.
