Intensive Design Experience 2018

 The Intensive Design Experience at Christopher Newport University (IDX at CNU) brought together high school students to explore various theatre and entertainment technologies under the tutelage of CNU faculty. The lighting class I oversaw focused on introducing the basic properties of light as an artistic medium through the lens of the concert lighting aesthetic. To demonstrate, I created Music of Machines and Light of the Heart to showcase the moving lights and LED fixtures. The event was sponsored by Barbizon Capitol, who provided state of the art moving lights for the project.
